Creating the Reference Implementation using WCSF and WSSF

There have been a number of requests in the Forums and votes in Issue Tracker on how to get the Web Client Software Factory and the Web Service Software Factory to work together.

Here are instructions (in Word document format). We plan on also providing the resulting source code in the not too distant future.

Note: The instructions target the Web Client Software Factory - January 2007 release.

Keep in mind, the Reference Implementation shipped with the factory will differ from the one generated by following the attached instructions. This is due to the fact that the Reference Implementation was created to inspire the Guidance Package, and was not created with the GP.

I am running the RI but cannot see any of the icons that lead to the functionality regardless of who I am logged on as.

My mistake, I just had to enable all the other recipes etc in tools>guidence package manager.

I have created projects using WCSF and WSSF, generated all code etc and it works fine. However what I would really like to get the WSSF templates working within a WCSF solution. I followed the instructions in the word doc and when I get to the section - "Enable your solution to use the Web Services Software Factory" I again follow the instructions, add the IsSolution = True and ServiceContractNameSpace element into the .sln file. When I reopen the solution the WSSF recipes are not available.

Any there any other points that I may have missed?
