Topics: Web Client Software Factory

Has any thought been given to how ASP.Net AJAX will be incorporated to applications created using the Web Client Software factory?

Will there be any specific Guidance in this area?

Or is ASP.Net AJAX something which you expect not to have any impact on the Guidance provided through WCSF?

I have being working my way through the factory for the past week and I don't see where you would need to implement a specific AJAX functionality. My project uses both types of controls.
It seems to me that AJAX works on a seperate tier than the one that the WCSF is trying to automate.

Although I may have this wrong.

Do you have a usage scenario where it is lacking?

As we plan the next/second release of the factory we ask for input from community on features such as AJAX. AJAX is currently planned for the second release and will stay there if community votes for it.

If you look at the roadmap on the home page AJAX support is listed as "Responsive UI".

I did move this work item to issue tracker to allow the community to vote on it.
