Hi All

When to use the gloabl services? For the services such as drop down list (e.g. Sex, Title) lookup, should I build it under global services or still use module services?

BTW, if create gloabl services, how to call it?

Alex, you might use global services when your service is used by more than one module
(a shared service). We usually recommend users to store infrastructure services (like auth, authn, logging, etc) as global services.

In order to call a global service, you have the same options as with module services. That means that you can obtains references of the services in a declarative way (using the ServiceDependency attribute) or in programmatically way.

I’d recommend you to read the topic “How to: Register and Use Services” from the WCSF’s Help. (ms-help://MS.VSIPCC.v80/ms.practices.wcsf.2007dec/wcsf/html/03-210-HowToRegisterAndUse_Services.htm)

Let me know if this helps,
