This drop includes updated documentation, links, and graphics. We are still looking for feedback on this release.

Plans going forward

We plan to change the JavaScript code to use jQuery and jQuery plug-ins exclusively. Once this is complete, we will publish the content to MSDN as the final release.

New Name

As an fyi, we changed the name to Developing Web Apps: Building Responsive, Modular Web Applications.

The Web Client Software Factory 2010 provides an integrated set of guidance that assists architects and developers in creating web client applications. This release is for Visual Studio 2010 and contains the Web Client Software Factory 2010 source code.

• Visual Studio 2010 Software Development Kit (SDK)
• Guidance Automation Extensions (GAX) 2010 (availabe from Visual Studio Gallery)

If the right-side pane of the chm file is not displayed correctly, do the following:
1) Download WCSF2010Guide.chm file.
2) Start the windows explorer and open the folder where the WCSF2010Guide.chm is located, right click the file and select Properties
3) On the Properties windows, click Unblock, and then click OK
