Hi All

If I want to use Workflow with WCSF, where should I place the WF runtime? Under the Global.aspx to create the object or use service dependency to retrieve the runtime created from module initializer? Please advise.

Hi Alex!

To use WF with WCSF I recommend you to have a look at the Page Flow Application Block, which uses WF as the underlying workflow engine. See the following topics in the help for more details:

  • Page Flow Application Block (Inspecting the Software Factory Assets -> Page Flow Application Block)
  • Page Flow (QuickStart) (Inspecting the Software Factory Assets -> QuickStarts -> Page Flow)
  • Page Flow with Shopping Cart (QuickStart) (Inspecting the Software Factory Assets -> QuickStarts -> Page Flow with Shopping Cart)
  • How to: Enable your Solution for Page Flow (Developing Web Client Applications -> How to: Enable your Solution for Page Flow)

Hope it helps!
