Hi EdJ!
I'm happy that WC-SF has started.
What is the recomendation from P&P according design of web applications:layered or service oriented?? I've seen a lot of presentation from MS there WebApplication uses only services , it means business logic is not inside application. Of course, RI can be easy modified to wrape BL interface as service but what is the recomendation ?? (Should the performance requirements have impact on this decision?)

I'm glad to see the Web Client Software Factory is in the way. I'm sure it will provide usefull content we'll be able to use on our projects.

Regarding the architecture, I hope the WC-SF will be built in such way one can choose the orientation (business objets or services or a mix of both) that best fulfil its requirements. In my opinion, the service orientation is too often the de facto choice in many of the patterns published by Microsoft.
