Hi All

Where should I place the db connection string? From the example provied by WCSF, it seems it is stored under the web.config of the modules which means we need to store to same config in different areas multiple times. If we implement in this way, it seems we need to create many web.config and sync them all in one time if the connection DB is changed? Is this a formal way to handle it?

Hi, if the connection string would be the same for all the site/modules you have to place the db connection string on the root web.config.

Then if any of the modules needs another connection, you can place it in his module web.config.

In which example did you see that behavior?

Let me know if this helps you,
